Aside from donating funds and accessories, there are plenty of ways you can get involved with Chemocessories and help lift the spirits of women who are dealing with hair loss due to cancer treatments.
Some opportunities include…
Help us assemble gift sets (if you are in the Manhattan Beach, California area)
Sew turbans
Hold an event to raise funds for Chemocessories
Host a collection drive for scarves and jewelry
Attend a community event
Visit our Great Nonprofits page to learn what others are saying about Chemocessories. And we’d love it if you’d leave a review while you’re there!
We welcome other suggestions as well.
Email us and let us know how you would like to get involved!
Michelle and her daughters have been volunteering with Chemocessories almost since its inception. Her mom was the first recipient of our accessory gift set! Michelle sorts, counts, logs, and organizes donations and delivers sets to local cancer treatment centers. In 2021, she became a recipient herself as she went through chemo after successful surgery.
Michele is a lifelong Southern Californian and interior designer who started volunteering with Chemocessories in 2016. She finds making sets for women undergoing chemo very satisfying, knowing how much this lifts their spirits. Michele is also a cancer survivor.
One of the easiest ways to show your support for Chemocessories is to follow us on social media and spread the word about our mission!
